I had a great time in the Midwest! Thanks to all the frans (friend/fans) who came out to my shows! Some highlights include meeting fellow youtubers (wadejohnston, seeso, Lisaxy424, ukulelezo, iamdanielle), eating deep dish pizza in Chicago, recording with Steve King in Detroit, Playing to a crowd of close to 200 in Ann Arbor, watching a guy get arrested at our hotel in Indianapolis, and watching a sea turtle attack a nursing shark at an aquarium in Newport, Kentucky. Thanks to everyone who helped Ivan and I out with a place to stay, food to eat and things to do! Great shows! Great turnouts! Great tour! Dear Midwest, you are da bidness. Omaha, Des Moines, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Indianapolis

I guess I’m officially a recording artist? I’ve been spending time in a real studio in the past two months and have been recording things there…singing, playing and dancing. It’s well on it’s way, but I’m finding it’s a long process. I’m impatient and feel like such a kid when it comes to being good at “the music industry.” I’m sure I’ll learn, eventually, and I’m sure I’m doing fine…I mean, let’s face it, I’m the shit.

The trip to California was amazing! I got to meet a lot of cool ass people, sing to an overstuffed laundry mat/coffeehouse, eat a Chile Relleno Burrito in Huntington Beach, talk about art and ethnicity in Utah, have late night pizza in San Francisco, and play a show outside with the beach right behind me. Life is good.
