On August 15th, I played at the Mile High Music Festival in Denver, CO! It was great day and a great experience. Dennis, Chris and I played on the same stage as TRAIN and WEEZER!
We played to a great crowd full of sandwich bearing men and women! The Weezer “W” was behind us for our entire set and WE WERE EVEN ON THE JUMBO TRONS to the side of the stage! I felt like such a star!

We had a trailer all to ourselves loaded with free food and drink and got driven around in Golf Carts all day. It was incredible! Thanks to all who came out to see me play! Check out Danielle Ate the Sandwich at The New West Fest August 20-22nd in Fort Collins, CO.

My Northwest Tour has been going GREAT! My shows in Seattle and Portland were BAH-MAZING and there are still two shows to go! I love to tour and meet you guys and hear how you heard of me and take pictures with you! Thank you for coming to the shows and listening to me sing! This trip has also lead me to find some amazing musicians! Daniel Adams, Jaybird and Micheal Miller were all kind enough to let me share a set with them and what an honor it was to get to hear them play! Check them out!

AS FOR ME, I’m heading down to Salem, OR, on Monday night and then down to Hood River, OR, on Tuesday and then back home to Colorado! Catch me if you can!

I like that I get to say things to my mom, like, “Tomorrow I’m going to be lifted in a crane 30 feet above the ground to put a giant pass to the Mile High Music Festival around the neck of the Egpytian god of the afterlife, Anubis.”

I got to meet Lee Miles of Oh My Stars and Jeep MacNichol of the Samples!
They were fun and cooler than me.
Rock always trumps Folk, but Folk trumps Christian Rock…every day but Sunday.

All of this, of course, is to promote the King Tut exhibit at the Denver Art Museum and THE MILE HIGH MUSIC FESTIVAL on August 14th and 15th. I play on Sunday, the 15th at NOON O CLOCK! Please come early to hear me play!

I am so excited to announce that I will open the Wolf Stage at the Mile High Music Festival on August 15th, 2010, a responsibility I am sure I can handle…GULP! Dear Diary, after our date at the drive-in, me and the city of Denver parked at lover’s cove and I steamed up his car windows all night long! I recently did an interview for denver.metromix.com and a TV interview with Heidi McGuire of Metromix Denver promoting the Mile High Music Festival! The festival is all day on August 14th and 15th in Commerce City, Colorado. I play on August 15th at 12 noon! Come enjoy a free show at Twin Paradox Coffee Shop in Portland! I also play a show at Piecora’s Pizza in Seattle on August 6th and a House Show in Hood River, OR on August 10th!

Last week was great! I played at Red Rocks opening for Grace Potter and the Nocturnals! The stage was amazing and huge (as was the size of the crowd). I also got to go backstage, where I had my own dressing room with a massage chair and a big screen TV-what?! I played at Twist and Shout in Denver and did an instore signing. I got to see my new album stocked on the shelves which was really cool. I felt like a real recording artist! I had an amazing CD Release show in Denver at the Walnut Room and in Fort Collins, CO, in Everyday Joe’s with the full band of guys who played on the record! We covered Lady Gaga and played the new songs REALLY REALLY well!

Two Bedroom Apartment (the new release) hit #5 on iTunes top selling singer/songwriter albums for a couple of days and I sold a bunch of copies throughout the week and as preorders! Thanks to everyone! You guys made this a great week and a great CD Release!
